About Katja Murta-bisse's Work

I am mad about painting in oil, acrylic paint, chinese Ink and watercolour! I have a varied style depending on the medium I use. My pictures using oil and acrylic paint tend to be larger and of vibrant colour whereas my watercolours tend to be less so.
What inspires me? Memories of my travels and my imagination. I do take commissions, sell my work and welcome visitors on prior arrangement. I also run ZenArt sessions. What are they you ask? By using brush, paint and paper and light meditation in the Zen style we endeavor to de-clutter the mind, still the mind and thus promote wellbeing within ourselves - as well as learning a new skill!
