Design… It can’t be hard can it? Let’s face it, it’s not a proper job is it? Sitting around all day in a swivel chair with your feet on the desk and a pencil in your mouth and a goat’s milk latte in your hand thinking up wacky and off the wall ideas for people with big marketing budgets…
Well, you could look at it that way… and maybe it was that way once (though not in my office). But those days have gone the way of the tie-die shirt. Design now is… harder I suppose. Harder as in ‘more hard edged’ and ‘more hard-nosed’ and it’s about brand recognition and revenue and market share and multimedia and e-marketing and ultimately ROI. Clients never used to talk about ROI; these days the conversation never gets far away from it!
At Snap we mostly design things. You tell us about an idea you had in the bath, the supermarket, the shower and we take that spark and turn it into a brand, a campaign, a website. Sometimes clients call us and tell us about ideas they don’t have! They have a product or service and no clue how to generate interest. Actually those are fun if I’m honest, though slightly harder work.
The reason for my description is to tell you that in all likelihood we can help your company to make money. We can show you ideas to help you put your Unique Selling Proposition over to prospects and we can do it at a reasonable cost. How reasonable… it depends; how much do you want us to handle for you? Suffice it to say that we’ll come and talk for free (though it would be nice if you put the kettle on).
If we can’t find a way to work with you which leads you to believe your business won’t benefit from our involvement , then we part company with just an hour invested. But if we can see possibilities for a new approach, a new market, a new angle on the promotion of your business or your product? Maybe you’ll want to hire us to design or develop that idea. Maybe you’ll see, as we do, that we’re not an expense but an investment in your business.
Current customers range in size from Microsoft all the way down to one man bands and innumerable startups. We have no preference on business size. Projects run from full branding where we start with a new logo and website, a new sales brochure, letterhead and business cards all the way to just a web site or just a letterhead design. Often just a single flyer or brochure for a single new product or service. Again, we have no preference because every job is treated the same way; a challenge to be taken on, a hurdle to be jumped, a mountain to be climbed.
Our USPs? That’s simple. We’re not ordinary and neither is our work. We’re not over or underwhelmed by anything (or rather we haven’t been to date) and we’re interested. That’s perhaps our strongest selling point. We’re interested in your business as much as our own.
